  • Ouch!!
  •
  • The main phase of your cells are call the interpahse.
  • During interphase, two chromosomes are formed and joined together by the centromere is two chromotids are joined
  • So I've looked at your arm. And it looks like mitosis will help heal it fast!
  • There once a young girl name Jellaica. She was at play ground talking with her friends and playing on the play ground when all of a sudden she flew off the swing and shit her arm on the hard ground. She hit her arm really hard on the ground, so that the teacher sent her to the nurse's office.
  • Chromosomes are thread-like material within the nucleus containing DNA in the form of genes.
  • The nurse came in and looked at her arm. She explained how mitosis occurs in 6 stages; interphase, mitosis, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase, and finally. Cytokinesis. She explained how mitosis helps with cell growth and heal broken bones and wounds faster!
  • The nucleus is where the chromosomes and DNA is stored and the nuclear membrane is the outside protection for the nucleolus and nucleus.
  • I feel completely healed already!
  • After Anaphase the next phase is Telophase. In which the chromosomes begin to uncoil to form chromatin. The nuclear membrane & nucleus begin to reform around chromosomes. The Nucleolus becomes visible again. Finally, sprindle fibers break down.
  • After 6 weeks later.....
  • The nurse explain the Interphase to Jellaica which is before mitosis begins, then the chromatin start replicating and the cells grow. Also, she explain to Jellaica that the Interphase have 3 main parts: G1, S, and G2. G1 is the cell increases in size, proteinsynthesis also occurs enable the cell to increase the amount of cytosol. S is the longest and the most essential stage of interphase. Lastly, G2 is the final stage where the cell prepares itself for cell division process .
  • Since you now know all about the Cell Cycle and Mitotis, you are all set! You benn fully healed!
  • Thank you for letting me know about that! I will share that to others so that they can also know about the Cell Cycle and Mitotis.
  • By the way, Centrioles are small micro tubules that are mainly composed of a protein called Tubulin.
  • The first step in Mitotis is the Prophase, which is the chromosomes become visible as paired chromotids and the nuclear envelope disappears. She explained to her that the second step is called the Metaphase. When the chromosomes become attached to the spindle fibers which join to the Centromere.
  • By the way, Spindle Fibers are the cytoskeleton structure that forms during cell division.
  • During the Prophase, the spindle fibers are attached to the sister chromatids
  • The nurse explained to Jellaica how the third step, the Anaphase, helps her heal by creating more cells In the Anaphase, it will double set of chromosomes separate into two identical groups that move to opposite ends of the cell. Thus is helpful to her because the cells are in the process of producing more cells.
  • Right after Telophase, Cytokinesis begins. During Cytokinesis the Cytoplasm is completely divided. A Cleavage Furrow forms and the cytoplasm divides. Therefore, creating 2 new daughter cells. After this stage, the cycle of cells is complete and it cycles back through continuously to continue forming new cells.
