- At 11:45 in manchester on a cold winter night, it was snowing like crazy. Me and my mom were watching collage football by the warm crackling fire with a big fuzzy blanket in the living room, it was an extremely close game and emotions were running high in the game because it was georgia versus north carolina in the championship game. Though our house was complete silence other than the quite talking oth the TV.
- My mom was in an extremely good mood and she knew I would be really tired in the morning, so she gave me the opportunity to skip first block math and sleep in. Even though I knew we were starting a new unit in math and taking notes that would be important I still decided to skip school.
- I I ended up failing the quiz at the end of the unit and I was very upset. I have learned from this experience that I have to keep my values in line with my actions and I will never make the decision of choosing my sleep over my smartness again. Though it was not my mom's fault, because though it would be a good for me and had good intentions, but now I realized it is more important for me to make decisions for myself and trust my instinct.
