- I’m very proud of my daughter for managing to make a life for herself in Trumbling but now I have to do her job. It takes a toll on my back and old age.

- Now that June is gone, the number of children in our school has decreased more, threatening to close down the school. I’m soo sad.
- Social interaction
- June isn’t the only teenager or young adult that has left recently. When they migrate out of Speringchite , they leave all us old people and all the younger children. The settlement is unfortunately struggling as a result.
- Since June has moved out and her family still needs money, her father has to deliver eggs despite him being very old. He stuggles, naturally, and the profit doesn’t flow in as easily anymore. Although June sends them money, they struggle financially. Their buyers are also negatively affected (for example- delivery not as fast, downgraded produce .etc.)
- With June’s departure, and a few others before her, the number of kids in the only school in Speringchite Valley has declined. The figures could the threaten the running of the school, as if they are too small, it would close down.
- June and the othe teenagers didn’t realize that by leaving, they left all the old and very young people. It’s very hard for people in those differing age groups to get together and “hang out”. The children grow up having to do much of the hard labor which sometimes prevents them from interacting socially.
