- Colonists wanted to move into the new lands, but Great Britain did not want to pay to fight with the native american.The colonists ignored the order and moved west anyways.
- Boston massacre
- The colonies needed more protection so the king sent lots of soldiers to protect the colonies but the colonists had to give the soldiers anything they wanted Colonists started to refuse to give the soldiers food and shelter because they were low on money from the taxes and paying for food.

- Some colonists did not want to keep paying taxes and housing soldiers, and be apart of great Britain anymore so they formed a group called the sons of liberty The Boston tea party and the american revolution were some of the effects.

- Protesters were making the soldiers nervous and they were protesting.5 people shot and killed and the guards were not guilty so protesters got angrier.
