- In the year 1917, women were granted the right to vote. A century later, in the year 2022, Mia and Jared were going to learn about the past. They are going to learn in the loud city of New York.

- 1917Women were granted the right to vote in New York. An amendment was placed and since, women have had suffrage. (The right to vote) Women were treated unequally for centuries. From 400 BC, women have been defending their rights. People like Emma Goldman have been defending their rights so much, that they could be sent to jail. She was sent to jail 40 times. Now a-days, all people have the right to vote.
- Where are we going?
- Mia and Jared had decided that they would fight for women's rights. But not only women's rights but for everybody's rights. You should do this too! Mia and Jared drove down the street spreading the word, so that other people e could know about this
