- The first Englishmen arrived to america four hundred of years ago.They were part of a company that traded, they also came to look for gold, silver, and a waterway to Asia.
- The king in England had a good deal when people got seasick while sailing, he would sit in his palace ruling England. In 1200s the king could do whatever he wanted, he had all the power.
- The colonist from Farther North in Plymouth signed a compact agreeing to form government where all the men vote about whatever issues came up.
- Britain took out a lot of dept to pay for war because they fought two expensive wars. They went looking for a way to make money, so they thought taxing the colonists was a good idea.
- The British government workers would break people's door and break into their house to take their property. The colonies were dependent on the King and declaring that all the laws passed in the colonies had no effect.
- The colonists decided that the only solution was independence, July 4 1776 signed declaration of independence. When America won the revolutionary war British lost all their colonies.
