- In 1517, Inigo was made a knight at Azpeitia. He was made a knight at his town and was very proud. It meant that he could get a lot of women and be popular. It was important to his life because it showed him that he could complete his wildest dreams. Inigo could now fill his belief of being a soldier now that he was a his family knew.

- In 1521, St Ignatius was wounded but be didn't die. St Ignatius started going through many painful procedures in the hospital of Pamplona to get the leg fixed but he had to pass the time. He started reading the two books available "The life of Christ" and "The lives of Saints". This changed his life because he saw that there was another way of life that wasn't glitter and glamour.

- On the 15th of August 1534, Inigo sat down with Pope Paul at Montmartre, Paris, France. The Jesuits were formed and Inigo's spiritual exercises were confirmed as real. He had worked towards this goal for many years and Inigo was the proud founder. His friends Francis Xavier and Peter Faber were in the other room waiting for the confirmation. This meant everything to Inigo as he had worked his whole non-soldier career doing this. It changed the way people saw Catholicism and Inigo aswell.
