- Over the next few months, Stalin did just that, and the effect was catastrophic on Ukrainians. He demanded 1/3 of their grain and live stock and minimized tractors.
- Give me 1/3 of your grain and some of your tractors
- Joseph Stalin passed laws that caused prevented people from stealing wheat, rebelling, or helping people.
- I now propose the law of 5 stalks that makes people unable to steal grain under severe punishment
- People who were caught rebelling or breaking the law were sent to labor camps, sentenced to death, or put in jail for 10 years. Followers took it further and made things worse by planning small ways that escalated in the famine and tons of Ukrainians dying that included fewer tractors, collectivizing grain, and limiting what people had for nutrition.

- Millions of people starved and died along with getting executed for rebelling and breaking the law. About 3.9 million altogether died.
- Stalin used clever ways to cover up this crime by using propaganda, false information, and many other tactics. (He's reaching for his computer.)
- Time to make some lies and propaganda.
- Today 90 years later, people still feel the pain and have uncovered the propaganda Stalin set up and his influence is still being felt. People want to stop this from happening again.
