- I have fourteen children, I am superior to Leto as she only has 2 children.
- Niobe is the daughter of Tantalus, king of a town above Mount Sipylus in Anatolia. We are unaware of who her mother is. She has 2 brothers Broteas and Pelops.
- As Niobe got older she married Amphion, they then had 14 children together. 7 sons and 7 daughters. When she got married and gave birth her life turned for the worse.
- Niobe made a remark and the twins (Apollo and Artemis) felt as an insult and became very angry.
- Apollo, the god of light and music came to Earth to get revenge, he murdered all 7 of her sons in front of her with his powerful arrows.
