- The US is in need of pilots. We need all the men we can get.

- Sorry! we do not mix white and black pilots
- Im sorry but unfortunately you two do not have the "right stuff" to be a pilot/
- We are capable pilots and would like to serve the U.S.A in world war ll
- we are just as capable as the white men!! You need pilots and we are willing to fly in the war!

- The proof from Tuskegee and other black institutions has proven that black men CAN fly

- On January 16, 1941 the military formed its All Black squadron. Yancey Williams went on to be 1 of 992 men who graduated from Tuskegee Air Field
