- Approach to the inmost cave

- Marlin and dory continue searching, and they come across a whale. Dory tries to talk to a whale to get directions, but Marlin us very nervous about Dory whale communication abilities. Meanwhile Nemo swims up to the tank filter to try and clog it with a pebble so that the fish can escape back to the ocean.
- The road back
- Marlin and Dory are swallowed by the whale, but Marlin has to learn to trust Dory and let go of his fears to escape.Nemo's mission isn't turning out to well, the pebble came loose and Nemo almost gets chopped by the filter motor.
- Resurrection
- Nigel the pelican lets Nemo know that his dad has crossed the ocean looking for him, which inspires Nemo to try the tank clogging plan again. when that works, Nemo plays dead hoping the dentist will flush him down the toilet and back into the ocean to find his dad. Mean while the whale lets marlin and dory out in the Sydney Harbour and Nigel gives them a lift to the dentist office where they see that poor little Nemo is dead, or so they think.
- Return with the elixir
- Upset, Marlin leaves dory behind to go back home by himself. Nemo winds up flushed down a drain and out in the Sydney Harbour.
- Nemo runs into Dory and the two fish look for Marlin together. Marlin and Nemo are finally reunited, Nemo proves to his dad that he is strong, brave and capable of doing a lot of things.
- Back home at the reef, Marlin, Nemo and Dory live together and a lot has changed for thee better. Marlin is now way less overprotective and Nemo is enjoying adventures at school.
