- Tablet 1: The Creation of Gilgamesh and Enkidu
- Tablet 2: Enkidu and Gilgamesh fight and becomes friends
- Tablet 3: Preparations for the journey
- Tablet 1 explains how Gilgamesh is created. Aruru was the person who created his body 2/3 god and 1/3 man. Gilgamesh is very strong but very arrogant because he believed everything belonged to him. Aruru then created Enkidu and Enkidu wanted to challenge Gilgamesh
- Tablet 4: Journey
- Gilgamesh and Enkidu fought but then Gilgamesh said that he wants to increase his fame and wants Enkidu to come with him. And so Enkidu agreed to go with him. but in order for Gilgamesh to increase his fame, he needed to go to the cedar forest where the god of Enlil stayed. so they need to slay the demon, Humbaba, in order to get the treasure that they need.
- Tablet 5: Battle
- So then, Enkidu guided Gilgamesh because he knew what place they needed to go.
- Tablet 6: Bull of Heaven
- Gilgamesh and Enkidu traveled 50 leagues a day and spending nights in the mountains. Each night, they dig a whole and prepared a shelter against the wind. each night, Gilgamesh dreamed of a bull bellowing of a wild storm and crashing fierce eagle.
- Gilgamesh and Enkidu then entered the cedar forest and fought with the demon and eventually they won.
- Gilgamesh and Enkidu went to the city of Uruk after having a fight with the demon. Ishtar talked to Gilgamesh saying that she likes him and wants to have a marriage ceremony with him. but Gilgamesh said no and so Ishtar was mad. so she ask her dad to let the bull of heaven destroy Gilgamesh knowing that the city will suffer seven years of drought. after, Gilgamesh and Enkidu slaughtered the bull.
