- For Muslims, Allah is the same God that is worshiped in Christianity and Judaism. They think of the Qur'an as the term of Allah revealed to Muhammad, in the same way that Jews and Christians believe that the Torah and the Gospels were revealed to Moses and the New Testament writers. Muslims believe that the Qur'an perfects previous revelations. . All 3 beliefs believe in heaven and hell and judgment day. Muslims trace their ancestry to Abraham, as do Jews and Christians. Muslims refer to Christians and Jews as "people of the book" as each religion has a holy book with teachings similar to those of the Koran.
