  • Hmm, vegetation? sure, let's sit in the living room. I'll tell you there
  • So, as you know India is a large country and has a large variety of vegetation. I am going to tell it's 3 of the varieties.
  • Ok Father!
  • First of all we have tropical evergreen Forests, they receive more than 200 cam of rainfall, and do you know they occupy nearly 7% of earth's surface. They are found mostly near the equator. Region is warm and wet throughout the year. It has a luxuriant vegetation of all kinds – trees, shrubs, and creepers giving it a multilayered structure.
  • The next we have Thorn forests, In regions with less than 70 cm of rainfall. They are found in the northwestern part of the country including semiarid areas of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Leaves are mostly thick and small to minimize evaporation
  • The last we have Mangrove Forests. Theses are found in the areas of coasts influenced by tides. Palm, coconut, keora, agar, also grow in some parts of the delta. Royal Bengal Tiger is the famous animal in these forests. Turtles, crocodiles, gharials and snakes are also found in these forests
