Storyboard Text
- Mrs. Luella Washington Jones is walking alone with a large bag at 11 o'clock at night when suddenly a boy ran up behind her and attempted to steal her purse but because of the heavy weight of the purse the purse strap broke and the boy lost his balance and fell on his back.
- Okay I'm going to snatch her purse and run as fast as I can. Hehe new shoes here I come!
- Whew chile, today was a long day and I'm hungry.
- Mrs. Jones turned around and sees the boy and yells at him and tells him to pick up her purse and makes him give it to her. After yelling at him she told him his face is dirty and that he needs to wash it.
- *gasps* Yes'm
- Pick up my pocketbook, boy, and give it here!
- Mrs. Jones tells him she won't let him loose and drags the boy to her house.
- When I get through with you, sir, you are going to remember Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones!
- The front door was let wide open but instead of Roger making a run for it Rodger decided to stay and wash his face and tell Mrs. Jones why he attempted to steal her pocketbook.
- I wanted a pair of blue suede shoes.
- Well, you didn’t have to snatch my pocketbook to get some suede shoes. You could have asked me.
- What was I thinking ?
- Mrs. Jones cooked dinner for her and Roger and confesses that when she was young she had also did somethings that she regretted doing and there was somethings that she wanted that she couldn't get.
- Eat some more, son.
- After dinner Mrs. Jones gave Roger $10 to buy him some new suede shoes. She send him on his way home, warning him not to get into anymore trouble for things he wants. Mrs. Jones closes the door on Roger before he can say thank you.
- Now, here, take this ten dollars and buy yourself some blue suede shoes. And next time, do not make the mistake of latching onto anyone's pocketbook
- I need to say something more then Just "Thank You Ma'am"
