  • Oh, Hey Shirley, I'm fine and how are you?
  • Hey Paul, wassup?
  • It's ok, I can help you, we are friends after all. I will try my best to explain it to you, let us sit.
  • Well I'm a bit down because I didn't understand what Miss Chen was saying in class, so i was wondering if you could help me out since you understand.
  • So, Distributive Pronouns refer to people or thing taken one at a time. They're considered members of a group separately rather than collective. E.g.: EITHER and NEITHER, since they refers to one person at a time, and they are always followed by a single verb.
  • Ok, I understand that, so let me try to make a sentence with the word, either.EITHER girl can clean the bathroom.
  • Yh, that's correct. So the next pronouns are called Reflexive Pronouns. Reflexive Pronouns show when the object of a sentence is also the subject of a sentence, like the words himself, myself, herself ,etc.. E.g. : The sixth former bought HERSELF a hotdog.
  • I understand, so let me give an example too: I saw MYSELF in the mirror.
  • Yh, that's correct too. So I'll move on to the next one which are, Intensive Pronouns. Intensive Pronouns are defined as pronouns that ends in-self or self that serve to emphasize their antecedents. E.g. : They THEMSELVES organized the concert. The sentence is technically correct without the Intensive pronoun, but it just adds some important context to it's meaning.
  • It's really no problem, I'm glad that you understand that's all that matters. I don't want you failing any English classes. And bye, I love you too bestie.
  • THANK YOU SO MUCH, PAUL. I don't even know how to repay you for how much you have helped me today. But I have to go now, so thanks for the help again. BYE I love you bestie.
