Storyboard Text

  • Then comes precipitation. It depends on what the temperature is whether precipitation takes on the form of rain, sleet, or snow. The clouds then pour down precipitation when they become to full to hold anymore water particles.
  • We were learning about the water cycle at school, and I found it very fascinating, unfortunately my teacher 0nly explained the 3 main stages, so I will ask my older friends to see if they can explain
  • This next part of the cycle is transpiration. This is where the soil takes in the precipitation and the plants take up the water. Some water that is left is released in the form of vapor through tiny holes in the leaves of the plant, called stomata.
  • The first stage is evaporation. The sun heats up, depending on the temperature, the water, turning it into a gas which we call vapor. The vapor than rises into the atmosphere.
  • Thanks so much! I can't wait to share this with my school mates. Learning new things is exciting!
  • The final part is infiltration. Some water that is unabsorbed by the soil, slowly leaks into the ground and collects in underground aquifers as groundwater
