- Later in 2017 Taylor was sued for allegedly lying about a man sexually assaulting her mid photo in 2013. She countersued him, for one dollar, and since there was a photo of him in the act of doing it he was found guilty.

- After months of scrutiny on the internet including being nicknamed a snake, Taylor took a year out of the public eye.
- After a few years of family hardship, misoginy, a sexual assault trial, and overall public scrutiny, and a year where no one has seen her. She came back with Reputation, an album made as a comeback album. Letting the whole world know that she would no longer be backing down.
