- Good morning Class! Today our topic is Greek Mythology! We'll be talking about the myth of Pandora's Box

- The story begins when Prometheus tricked Zeus into getting a bad sacrifice so that he could steal fire from the heavens to give to man
- As punishment to Mankind, Zeus made Pandora and gifted her to Prometheus' Brother, Epimetheus and told him to marry her. He left Pandora with a special box
- Zeus told them never to open the box, for that reason Epimetheus kept the box in safe keeping, but Pandora was made to be curious and took the box while Epimetheus was asleep.
- Pandora was purposely made to be curious, so she opened the box , she she opened the box , many evils flew out to earth, but she closed the box, just before hope could escape, leaving mankind with something to hold on to
