- this scenery represents the scene where gerry and his dogs go out to the bay to hunt for aquatic life and to find old plop and dring this his dogs run away and find two coiled up snakes in the mud gerry amused by this decided to catch the snakes
- He caught the first one with ease but the other one buried itself in the mud, even after this with a lot of effort he caught the second one too and then he found a man named kosti
- Then they had a talk concerning who kosti was and we got to know he was a prisoner
- here the scene where kosti meets gerry is described where we find out that prisoners are allowed to go home at weekends and also here we get to see alecko the gull who gerry takes home as a gift from kosti
- who are you ?
- I'm Kosti and I am a prisoner .I have just come back from my prison for the weekend
- here we are shown the home scene where everyone was scared of the gull and it was decided to keep the gull in the magpies's cage and after this we get to see the family meeting kosti where mother thinks its okay to have him as a friend and the story ends here
- also after this conversation with the family gerry decides that the gull should be kept with the magpis
