- My wife says my real apology to her will not come in the form of words. It will come in the form of behavior. I am also aware of the pain my behavior has caused... I have let down my fans.
- Many of you in this room are my friends. And I want to say simply, I am deeply sorry for my selfish behavior I engaged in.

- I knew my actions were wrong... but I convinced myself that normal rules didn't apply. I thought I could get away with whatever I wanted to.
- ...I was entitled. I don't get to play by different rules than everyone else.
- I have betrayed my wife and my sponsors want to drop me... what shall I do?
- I know! I'll have someone write my press report FOR me! They'll know exactly how to fix this!
- I once heard, it's not what you achieve in life, but what you overcome. Parents used to point to me as a role model for their kids...
- It is time for me to make amends and start living a life of integrity.
- It is hard to admit I need help, but I do... so for 45 days I was in in-patient therapy receiving help for my issues.Despite the damage I have done, I believe I need to shield my family from the spotlight... keeping them separate from my sponsors.
- PLEASE leave my wife and kids alone. Above all, *I* am the one who needs to change.
- I NEED to regain my balance between my spiritual and professional life.
- By practicing Buddhism, what I was taught as a child, it teaches me to learn restraint. As I move forward, I will continue to seek help.

- A lot is being said about me right now and I just want to clear the air. I used poor judgement in speaking to anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed a line during a regrettable period in my life. In certain instances it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family. My wife and family are all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never do it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together.
- Glad that's over... Now I can sit back and enjoy the day.
