- We find out about gatsby's past.The focus is on Dan Cody.Dan Cody was an alcoholic and that he was very rich.This is where gatsby learns how to act and he becomes a man.Daisy and Tom go to gatsby's party.Tom loathles the party. Daisy finds the party underwhelming.Gatsby acknowledges that daisy does not enjoy the party.
- Driving Gatsby's car, Daisy runs over Myrtle. Myrtle husband george thinks Gatsby did it. George shoots gatsby in a swimming pool then shoots himself.Almost no one comes to gatsby's funeral Daisy and Tom move nick goes back to west.
