- Just outside of London, in 1215, the barons presented a document called the Articles of the Barons.
- I demand for your taxes. I need it for the crusades and conflicts I must embark on.
- This is unfair. You are taking away our freedoms and rights. We paid taxes last week. We barely have anything left.

- If you don't give me your money, you will go to prison!
- King John died in October 1216 from dysentry. His son, King Henry III took over and changed the Charter to try and end the civil war with the barons. King Henry's son then took the reign.
- Here is a list of 63 clauses which outline our demands.
- No taxation without consent.Punishment should fit the crimeNo one is above the law...
- ......Fine. I will agree to your demands.
- I am now rejecting their demands. I was forced to sign the Charter which makes it invalid.
- I am King Edward. It is 1297 and I am reissuing a new Magna Carta to raise money to fight and regain territories. The King will now need to seek approval from the Parliament if I wish to make any changes.
