- Al, Have you chosen your beatitude yet?
- I think I will choose the fifth Beatitude- Blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy.
- You are so lazy! We won't be able to submit our project on time and miss will give us a bad grade.
- Remember our teacher said we have to give examples too! By the way I'm hungry, let's go to the cafeteria.
- I'm sorry. I have problems at home. My sister is sick with Covid and my mom is away. I have to take care of my sister.
- I have an example of my beatitude already. Remember when Jack shouted at Johnny in the classroom because Johnny did not hand in his part of the group project that day and it's almost deadline?
- Oh yes I do! Poor Johnny. Jack did not asked. He just shouted at Johnny. with no considerations. Johnny was so embarrassed and Jack was so mean.
- What happen after that? I heard they did not go to the principal's office they just settled the fight!
- Jack finally listened and realized he was just over reacting. He was so sorry and Johnny said it was ok and He said he was so sorry too. They just made it on time and actually had good marks.
- Zane, what I want to say is it feels good to forgive and forget. To make friends and choose peace rather than hold grudges. One lesson learned here is that before we say something we regret later, we should think first and listen to others because we will never know the reason behind the story if we don't listen to what others have to say.
