  • The Abrahamic Covenant started upon the call of the father of all nations to lead the Jewish people to the Promise land.
  • “Go forth from your country, your relatives, and from your father’s house, To the land which I will show you; I will make you a great nation, bless you and all your families."
  • And there was strife between the herdsmen of Abraham's livestock and the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock.
  • Where are we going, Abraham?
  • I don't know where we're going but God will show us the way.
  • So Abraham left as the LORD had directed him accompanied by Lot, Sarai, their servants and all their possessions.
  • His faith and obedience gain him the graces and blessings of God. In the Covenant with Abraham, God promised him3 things: a great nation, the Promised Land, andall people on earth be blessed ( Genesis12:1-3).
  • "God promised Abraham that He would multiply his descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky."
  • Genesis 17: 19 Then God said, "Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him."
  • I shall call him Isaac!
  • God's promise, a Child for Abraham and Sara.
  • What a lovely name for my son!
  • Thank you! I choose the Valley of Jordan and go eastward.
  • We are blood related we should not fight, Choose which land you would like to have and peace be with us!
  • Abraham, Stop what you are doing, God tested you and knows that without doubt you faithfully obey HIM with all your heart!
  • My Lord, My God, accept my sacrifice to you, my son Isaac!
  • Abraham did not weaken in faith when God called him in his old age, or "the barrenness of Sarah’s womb. No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God. Fully convinced that God will hold true to His promises. Therefore his faith was reckoned to him as righteousness.” . God forgive all his sins, past and future and to his descendants. Romans 4:1-8
