- There are tons of different types of energy! I'll tell you five different types in the next box(s) you'll see.
- Thermal Energy
- Like, fire for instance, it is thermal energy. Thermal energy gives off heat, like the sun.
- Very hot!!!
- Radiant Energy
- And then we have radiant energy! It gives off light, like this lantern in a dark cave. It helps us see things.
- -Different types of energy-
- And further in the cave it echos! So here, I'm yelling and making sound energy! Sound energy is measured in waves.
- Thermal energy gives off heat and is measured by heat, like a hot stove or some hot cocoa, or a campfire in this case.
- Radiant energy gives off light, like a flashlight, lightbulb, ceiling fan, or even this computer you're staring at.
