- In may 1381 a tax colecter arive wondering why no one payed there tax's. He was thrown out by the fobbing villagers. Wat Tyler from Ket, was the leader of the peasants. They did not want to pay taxs anymore and wanted freedom
- “The poor in their hovels, overburdened with children and rack-rented landlords. For whatever they save by spinning thy spend on rent, or on milk and oatmeal to make gruel to fill the bellies of their children, who clamour for food."
- Wat Tyler brought everyne to london to destory all the tax recorders in London and many got drunk and starting looting places in London. They were still looking for what they wanted.

- On June 14th The king met the rebels at Mile End. At the metting Richard II gave them whatever they wanted. Some left happy others didnt leave. They murder. June 15th the lord wanted to stop the other rebels but i they did everything would start on fire. So they meet agian.
- In this meeting, Lord Mayor killed Wat Tyler. With this all the peasant were promised what they want and this was enough to send them back home.
- By the summer of 1381, the pooll tax was wothdrawn and everyone was forced back to there old way of life. But the Lords did not have it their way, because of the black death, caused a storaged of labor. Over the next 100 year peasant learn they can earn more. Whatever the peasants asked for, the Lords had to give them it.
