- Hi! Today I'm going to talk about the scientific method!
- Step 1 is on the board!
- Step 1: Ask a questionThe first step of the scientific method is to ask a question.For example: Will my plants grow faster if I water them more?
- Step 2 is on the board!
- Step 2: Form a hypothesisThe second step of the scientific method is to form a hypothesis. Your hypothesis will be an educated guess or prediction based on your question.For example: If I water my plants twice a day then they will grow faster.
- Step 3: ExperimentAfter you create a hypothesis, you do an experiment to test out your hypothesis! An example of an experiment would be me watering my plants twice a day for a month and checking the results at the end of the month!

- Step 4: Analyze dataAfter you are done with your experiment, analyze your data! Depending on the experiment you do, you can also compare your data with some other data.After analyzing data you can decide if your hypothesis was correct or not!!
- Step 5: ConclusionAfter the experiment, you determine whether or not your hypothesis was proved to be correct. That is called making a conclusion from your results.
