  • Hello circulatory system! As you all know, me and the circulatory system work together in a lot of ways. When we get air, it is then given to the blood.
  • One of the biggest things we is carry nutrients to our cells from the digested food. We also carry oxygen to the cells. We carry waste to the cells from the kidneys and lungs, We also fight diseases! As you know, you are all separated depending on what type of blood vessel you are. Artery, you take blood away from the heart, and vein takes blood into the heart. Capillary carries blood between you two!
  • Welcome to the respiratory system! Here, we work with the circulatory system! I am your teacher, Ms. Lung. We do a lot of important things here, a good example is that we give oxygen from the air to the bloodstream. We release carbon dioxide, and we allow people to speak.
  • We are divided into a few parts, the nose and mouth, the trachea, the bronchus, the lungs, the diaphragm, and the alveoli. The nose and mouth warms, filters, and moisten the air. Trachea is a tube that carries air from larynx to the lungs. Bronchus is a tube that leads from the trachea, to the lungs. Lungs are sponge like organs that are responsible for gas exchange. Diaphragm is a dome shaped muscle under the lungs that expands and contracts to allow air in and our of the lungs. Alveoli are sacs at the end of bronchus where carbon is exchanged for oxygen. Now that we all know what we do, lets go meet the circulatory system!
  • Hello respiratory system! Then the carbon dioxide leaves the blood stream to be exhaled.
  • Why do we need oxygen?
  • We need oxygen for energy.
  • In the mitochondria, glucose is changed into energy, we need oxygen for this to happen.
  • Hello and welcome, class, to the circulatory system. I will be your teacher, Ms. Heart. As most of you know our system does a lot of things. We also work with the respiratory system. Before we talk about the respiratory system, lets talk about what we do.
