American
If the USA has more land that means there is more room for agricultural growth, that is significant because that means there are more opportunities for them to grow cash crops and that will help them succeed in their new land. When the USA got more land they pushed Natives out of their home-land that is significant because it forced Natives to start their lives over and they lost all of their resources which will hurt their survival chances.

Natives
If the USA gets the Natives home-land that means they get more land to grow cash crops that is significant because cash crops help the gain of money which will help them succeed in America due to their resources. Natives however, had to leave their land walking the trail of tears and that killed many Natives that is significant because when they lose people and that means less resources they can have, which will lead to death among the Native population.
Oregon Territory - The Oregon Trail
The Oregon Trail 1811-1840
If the USA gains Texas that means the USA is one step closer to completing manifest destiny, which is the belief that USA expansion is inevitable, that is significant because Americas goal is to have a lot of land which leads to power. Mexicans lost land that is significant because that means they lost a lot of opportunities for agriculture growth and to grow cash crops which will help them succeed in the future because they will have more food and better shelter.

Midwest 1869
KILL EM'
When Guadalupe Hidalgo signed the treaty, Mexico lost a great portion of their land, that is significant because they could have used the land to make a ton of money later on which will help economical growth for Mexico, and that would make Mexico more powerful which is what they want. America gained a major amount of land, that is significant because through this they can use the land for animals and cash crops which will help settlers gain money and lead to wealth and success in America which is good for their resources.
American settlers wanted to move from coast to coast over to Oregon for agriculture growth, that is significant because Oregon has lots of land and fishing ponds which will help the growth of money which will lead to a better life in the USA. In order for them to do that they had to push out Native Tribes living there, which means the Native population could not benefit off that land anymore, that is significant because they lost all of their land and lost their resources which will lead to a less successful life in America, which is bad for the Native Population.
Settlers used almost all of the Bison they could for meat, warmth, and religious benefits that is significant because that helped them survive when they didn't have and other source of food or shelter that is good for the life of settlers. The bison population was greatly decreased from this, harming the species and its growth is significant because if the settlers keep on killing bison they would eventually die off, meaning no more food or shelter for settlers and the bison population would become extinct.
