- John is a delivery driver on the road from the depot. His usual delivery route is from Blarney to Bandon. However he has 2 parcels in his van for Old Head of Kinsale. This is an inconvenience for him as it is very out of his way and a time consuming journey.
- Robert from DPD has accepted your request. Please meet him at X at 3:35pm.
- John is delivering a parcel to a local business in Blarney. He then remembers he heard of an app from another delivery driver that would allow him to sub contract his delivery to the Old Head of Kinsale, sparing his fuel on a long journey.
- He goes onto his phone to download the app. He creates a profile and turns his location on. He sends out a request for a delivery to the Old Head of Kinsale.
- He then gets a notification on his phone that another driver from another company is going on that route anyway and can deliver the package.
- John and Robert then meet. John uses scanning feature on the app to say he has given Robert the parcel and Robert uses scanning feature to confirm he has accepted it.#160;
- Robert delivers the parcel to the customer and gets her to sign the signature feature on the app and he then uploads and confirms delivery.
