- Harold Hardrada upset that Harold Godwinson has become king arrives in 300 ships towards north England from Norway.
- The great battle of the Bridge
- Harold Godwinson marches 180 miles north whilst on the way collected the fyrds the army men and housecarls who were the strongest in the army.
- The tragic death of Harald Hardrada
- Harold Hardrada invades York but he lowers his defense and his troops leave their armour on the ships leaving them vunrable for Harold Godwinson to attack.
- Never celebrate too soon
- Harold Godwinson’s army attack Harold Hardrada on Stanford bridge but a fierce Viking holds them off and slaughters at least 60 of their men but they manage to get under the bridge and kill him striking him in the groin.
- As the fierce viking dies 50% of their defense is lowers making Harald vulnerable and at the right moment he gets shot by an arrow directly in his throat killing him.
- They’re celebrations of the battle were cut short because The duke of Normandy attacks England from the South making Harold Godwinsons already exhausted army march all the way from North to south London.‘This makes Harold Godwinson vulnerable to the French.
