  • Acts 2: 1-4
  • Acts 2: 4-13
  • ...
  • Those guys are full of wine and drunk!
  • Acts 2: 13-36
  • For these are not drunken, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken the prophet Joel...
  • When the day of Pentecost was fully come, the Apostles were together. Suddenly there came a sound of a rushing mighty wind and it filled the house where they were sitting. Cloven tongues of fire appeared on each of them and filled them with the Holy Spirit.
  • Acts 2: 38-40
  • What shall we do?
  • The Apostles were amazed and marveled as the Holy Spirit gave them utterance, and they were able to speak in new languages. Others who saw the Apostles mocked them and said they were full of wine.
  • Acts 2: 41-43
  • Being baptized is awesome.
  • Peter then stood and lifted his voice and said to them, "Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words..." Peter told them about Joel's prophet and he let them know that God has made the same Jesus who was crucified, both Lord and Christ.
  • Acts 2: 44-47
  • Lets go do a bread breaking!
  • I can sell some of my goods.
  • When they heard this they were pricked in the heart, and asked Peter and the other Apostles what to do. With many words, Peter told them to be baptized and to save themselves from this untoward generation.
  • Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
  • They gladly received his words and were baptized, and the same day they added to themselves three thousand souls. They continued steadfastly in the Apostles doctrine and fellowship, in breaking of bread, and in prayers. Fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done by the Apostles.
  • All that believed were together and had all things in common. They sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, ate their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favor with all the people. The Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
  • Praise the Lord!
