- In Neolithic times, people could develop more specialized skills. Besides farmers, people were also weavers, basket makers, toolmakers, traders, and stoneworkers. These new skills they developed gave more variety to community life.

- In Paleolithic times, there wasn't much trade. The hunter-gatherers were only concerned with the animals, plants, and other resources they found nearby.

- In the Neolithic age, people became more skilled at crafts, and wanted better materials. They sometimes crossed mountains on foot, rode donkeys through the desert, and sailed ships through the Mediterranean sea just to trade. They traded for flint, obsidian, or even shells to use as beauty products.
- Why did my wife have to ask for shells for her birthday?
- In Conclusion, Neolithic and Paleolithic times had significant differences in ways the people obtained food, shelter, lived in communities, had jobs, and traded. And over time, people gained a better quality of life with more variety to living.
