- As her father is expected to join the army but Mulan offers to take his place as he was too old and sick to join. Her parents accept.
- In order to join the army, Mulan dresses as a man and is accepted. Her disguise isn't recognized and she continues to fight for her country in a war.
- Mulan and her comrades fight side by side in many long battles and end victorious.
- Mulan and her comrades returns and are offered rewards. She refuses and only wishes to see her family.
- Mulan returns home to her family and reveals her true identity to her comrades.
- Instead of being executed, Mulan is offered a position with the emperor.
