  • Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, John Hancock, William DawesThis is the first battle of the American Revolution. Th colonists managed to hide the weapons in Concord before the British arrived on their march from Lexington where someone had informed them of the supply.
  • Saratoga - September 9/ October17, 1777
  • William PrescotThe colonists had the high ground on top of Breeds Hill in Boston. The British made three advances on the hill until the Americans ran out of ammunitions. This battle led t 40%casualties for the British.
  • Valley Forge - December 19, 1777-June 19, 1778
  • George Washington, Hessian GarrisonThe Americans snuck u on the Hessians at Christmas and surprised them at night. The captured 88 nd only lost one of their own. This was the first major American victory.

  • George Washington, Baron Von SteubenGeorge Washington set up camp in Valley forge for the winter of 1777. Baron von Steuben created a training program for the patriots in the face of diseases and failure to recapture Philadelphia from the British.
