  • Similar to Great Britain, the U.S had an abundant supply of natural resources including fast-flowing rivers, coal, iron, and an abundant supply of workers.
  • This fast flowing river would be a great power source for my textile mill! And look at all of those farmers that could become laborers!
  • Francis Cabot Lowell created a way to fully mechanize the creation of cloth in 1813. His factory could mass produce textiles at incredible rates. As a result, the town that was named after him, Lowell, Massachusetts, became a booming manufacturing center and acted as an inspiration for other towns.
  • Francis Cabot Lowell has turned this river into a fully mechanized textile mill!
  • Locomotives and railroads played an important role in growing cities and industrializing the U.S due to their ability to quickly move people and resources like Iron.
  • Using this train I could travel distances in hours that would have taken me days by horseback! I managed to get from Lowell to Chicago with ease!
  • Companies that wanted to create large projects such as railroads needed large amounts of money to do so. They would sell stock of their company in order to raise money for these projects. A corperation is a company that is owned by stockholders
  • I now have the oppertunity to buy and sell shares of these railroad corperation that I keep riding!
  • William Cockerill illegally smuggled plans for a spinning machine into Belgium. Because of this, Belgium was able to create textiles and industrialize rapidly. Lots of British workers moved into Belgium because of the industrialization that was occurring
  • Dont mind me! Just walking with illegal plans to build one of the most important machines in Belguim's history!
  • I heard that belgium has become the fastest industrializing country in Europe! I had to see it with my own eyes!
  • Germany imported British machinery and engineers which allowed them to industrialize textiles and other goods. Along with this, Germany built railroads to connect cities, coal mines, and iron mines.
  • These railroads and brittish engineers will turn Germany into a thriving country! Just like Belgium and the U.S
