- Reepicheep has convinced the crew to go inside the dark cave. He says that Royals aren't scared of the dark ,and if they are he hoped the public wouldn't find out. Then, even thought Drinian(a experience captain) suggested not, Caspian did to not look like a wimp. So he ordered lamps to be lit ,and ordered the Dawn Treader to go into the hole
- They go inside the cave to find a man only wearing only rags. The man is old ,and thinks the Dawn Treader might as well be a dream.
- Aslan, Aslan, if you ever loved us a all, send us help know.
- At first when the stranger said that dreams come true the crew was happy. They thought that also included daydreams. When they realized that it was only dreams and not day dreams they were silent. Then there was a mad rush to get into the ships hull.
- Where's the cave?
- I don't think that was us.
- You destroyed it!. Thank you, thank you.
- Once the crew of the Dawn Treader process the fact that dreams come true everyone tried to climb down hatches. Then they heard little creatures climbing up the side of the boat.
- Lucy calls out to Aslan to save the crew and herself. When she did that she felt a bit better. Then the entrance of the cave lit up ,so they could find the exit. Along with that he flew into the cave as a albatross and spoke to Lucy to have courage
- Once they get out of the cave they can't find the entrance to the cave. Then the stranger(Lord Rhoop as they later learn) said that the crew of the Dawn Treader destroyed the cave. Lucy thinks they didn't and Aslan did thought she never says Aslan destroyed the cave.
