How Horney Sees Me
God, I have had so much anxiety since I was child. I just want people to love me to give me some security.
My id is telling me to satisfy my needs by just going home to rest. However, my superego tells me I have to go to work to go along with standards for my judgement. My ego lets my id and superego come together to a realistic decision of leaving work a little early. Freud believed these factors are what molded their personality.

I love my mom so much for always taking care of me and taking me to the doctor. I'm so glad she took after my grandma as a great nurturer.
Adler says that the youngest sibling is more ambitious and rebellious in birth order. In this example, I rebelled against my parents wishes of telling me not to go to Paris since my siblings didn't get to go either.

I can tell you like to keep to yourself and are a little introverted. You haven't talked to many people on our trip so far. I think you get that from your dad.
Jung believed in the collective unconscious where people take after our species universal experiences. In this example, my mom knows how to take care of me because she has seen her mom and other people take care of their children.
Rogers believed that all people are good unless the environment hinders your growth as a person. In this example, my mom is proud of how good of a person I am. She also mentions how no environmental factors have impacted me, so I continue to be a good and genuine person.
Eysenck believed that people get their personality traits, like extroversion and introversion, from their genetics. In this example, my mom realizes that I'm a more introverted than extroverted while on our vacation in Japan. Since my dad is the same way, she realizes that I most likely inherited that trait from him.
