- I'm Drop!
- I'm Aqua!
- Where did you go? Why are we rising into the air!
- The solar radiation from the sun is causing us to evaporate! We are turning into a gas called water vapour because it is too hot! That's why we cannot see each other.
- We can see each other again!
- Yeah! The reason we can see each other is because we have condensed! We have turned into water again due to the cold temperature in the atmosphere that we are in and we have formed a cloud with other water drops by joining together.
- Why did we all fall down all of a sudden? And why are all of the waterdrops so much larger?
- The water drops joined together and became too big to overcome gravity, so we all came down as precipitation.
- Where did all of the other water drops go?
- They are going through the proccess of infiltration. This means that they seeped through the earths land surface. They are currently filling pockets of air in the soil and rock! Since we did not seep into earths land surface, we are forming runoff!
- Why did we go through all of that?
- The process we went through is called the water cycle.
