Storyboard Text

  • Here's a story about a father and two sons.
  • Give me my share of the inherits for when you die right now.
  • Here you go son!
  • NOOOO! I ran out of money! There is also a severe famine.
  • Jesus teaches everyone about a story about a father and two sons.
  • There was a father with two sons. The younger son asked for his inherit before his father dies. The father agreed and gave him his share.
  • Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.
  • The younger son spent all his money on partying and having fun. He had no money left. There was also famine which made it impossible to find food.
  • Quickly, bring out a robe—the best one—and put it on him; put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. And get the fatted calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate; for this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found!
  • He convinced some local farmers to hire him to feed pigs. He was starving so much that he ate the pig food as well. He thought about how is father probably gave food to his workers so he went home to work for his father.
  • When he came home, his father ran up to him with compassion, wrap his arms around him and kissed him.
  • His father asked his slaves to give him a robe, a ring, sandals and a fat cow to celebrate the son for coming home.
