- I would like you to form your own patterns in your pairs, just as I have shown you an example on the board and come share your pattern with us as a class.

- There is a game that you play called hop scotch can anyone tell me what pattern it has?
- The children are given a chance to work in pairs and are given different shaped blocks so that they can be creative and form their own patterns. And share with the class about the patterns they have created. Of which they use their competencies of collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creativity.
- Consolidation (15 minutes)
- While we play hop scotch, let us identify different kinds of patterns in the play area.
