Storyboard Text

  • THREE SLAVES FOR SALE!
  • First, the slaves were captured by slave traders. Next, they were moved to the ship they would be boarded on. Thirdly, they would be boarded on to the ship and were given very little room to move. Finally, they started their journey on the boat.
  • Once they were on the ship. First, they were boarded on the ship. Next, they were moved across the Atlantic ocean to the desired countries. Thirdly, this journey was long and hard for the slaves, because they were given very little food and room. Finally, they reached the country and were ready to be sold.
  • Once they had reached the country. First, they were moved to where they would be sold. Next, they were sold in either an auction or scramble. Thirdly, they were sold to their buyers. Finally, they were put to work by overseers.
  • Once they arrived in their respective colony, they had to find a job. If they don't have a job they will starve. Their were plenty of job opportunities in the colonies. This depended on where you were.
  • Once they had found a job. they had to work until they had enough money to buy a house. The amount of time this took depended on the job they had. Once they could afford a house they bought it.
  • Once they had a house, they only had to afford food. Most settlers would start a family at this point, but they could save up money for other things they wanted.
