- Robert Catesby gathers Thomas winters,Jack Right,,Thomas Percy and Guoto Fawkes help him plot to kill the king. They are annoyed as James I is not letting them practice their religion.
- In May 1604 Guy Fawkes and Thomas Percy start there plan. They rent a house near Parliament and start to dig a tunnel from their house to Parliament to smuggle the gunpowder.
- A cellar underneath the House of Lords comes up for rent in March 1605. They stop digging, rent the cellar and put 36 barrels of gunpowder which are disguised as potatoes. They have everything ready for the Royal State Opening of Parliament.
- Lord Monteagle, a man in parliament, receives a letter at a dinner on October 26th 1605. He shows his friends in the government but they don't act . The letter tries to keep Lord Monteagle away from Parliament so he will not die because hes catholic.
- On the 5th November 1605, Guy Fawkes gets ready in the cellar. He gets the matches ready and waits for the ceremony to start.The soldiers come to check on the cellar and when they first come they find nothing but Guy Fawkes standing there. So they let him go with a name john johnathan. They come to look again and find Guy Fawkes about to light the gunpowder. He is arrested and taken to see the king.
- Guido was hung and his accomplices were shot/tortured then killed.
