This is the first stage of Mitosis, during this stage the nucleus is still there, the chromosomes are condensing and spindles are beginning to form on the sides of the cells.
Telophase
During this stage the chromosomes are lined up in the middle of the cell with the spindles attached to each side. The nucleus has also been dissembled.
Cytokinesis
During this stage the chromosomes are separated and are moved to the opposite sides of the cell by the spindle fibers.
During this stage the chromosomes are now ends and the new nuclei are forming on each side to make the two new cells.
Cytokinesis is responsible for the final splitting of the two cells, this is done by splitting the cytoplasm.
