- Harriet Tubman secretly made trips back to Maryland after escaping her plantation and helped rescue an estimated number of 70 people including family and friends whom she then brought to the underground railroad.

- Harriet Tubman has helped change everyone´s way of living. She fought for the rights of African Americans. She made sure that the equality between women and male, when it came to the simplest things was always equal. Harriet risked her life many times for everyone's well-being. She was one of many who helped allow all races and genders to be together as one.
