- Oh, how I long for Rosaline, my one true love. But her heart is not meant to be mine...
- Can I have your daughter for the rest of my life? Say yes, say yes, 'cause I need to know.
- In the exposition, some minor characters are introduced, and we see just how much hate the Capulet family has towards the Montague family, and vice versa.
- Romeo!, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?
- In this scene, Romeo expresses his his feelings for Rosaline, but she has rejected him. Lovesick, he speaks with Benvolio. They plan to see Rosaline at the Capulet party that night.
- Paris speaks with Lord Capulet, in order to ensure his marriage to the fairest of the Capulet family, Juliet. During the whole play, it is constantly mentioned that Paris is to marry Juliet.
- The scene before the Capulet party, Lady Capulet is aware of Lord Capulet and Paris' intentions to marry Juliet, yet she is cautious and believes that Juliet is not of age to be wed and should wait two summers.
- After the Capulet party, Romeo follows Juliet into the Capulet orchard and they both confess their love for each other. Although they are enemies by name, they plan to get married in secret.
- In this scene, Romeo and Juliet, the star crossed lovers get married in secret. Even though Juliet knows that she is promised to Paris, she feels her love for Romeo is stronger than any other.
- Tybalt, a Capulet, kills Mercutio, Romeo's friend. Outraged, Romeo kills Tybalt with the notion that his love for Juliet has made him soft. Soon after, the Prince of Verona exiles Romeo for his crime.
- After the news of Tybalt's death, Lord Capulet and Paris still plan to marry him to Juliet. They plan the wedding on Thursday. if Juliet is not to marry Paris, Lord Capulet will disown her from the family.
- I know Tybalt has passed, but the wedding is still in place. On Thursday Juliet will be married to Paris.
- In desperation, Juliet turns to Friar Lawrence. She asks him for a way to not be married to Paris. He gives her a potion that will make her look dead and Romeo will come for her.
- Will you help me , Father?
- Romeo rushes to Juliet after the recieving the false news that she is dead. After defeating Paris, he decides to be with Juliet in the afterlife and poisons himself.
- Juliet awakes from her coma and sees Romeo dead beside her. Grieved, she takes a dagger and also decides to be with Romeo, and takes her own life by stabbing herself.
- When the Capulets and Montagues arive to see their children dead, Friar Lawrence steps in to tell the two families the tragedy that occured. With this, the two families decide to end their feud and live in peace.
- I am very sorry for the loss of your children
