Storyboard Text

  • The boy entered the room looking quite sick and in pain. His father notices this and worries about his son, so he suggests the boy go back to bed. But the boy refused to accept his father's proposal. He insisted that he was fine.
  • The father knew that his son was not well, and he also suspected that he even had a fever. The father decided to call a doctor. The doctor confirmed that the child had a fever, since his temperature was one hundred and two degrees. So he prescribed three different medicines in capsules, left the instructions for administering the medication and clarified that if the fever did not exceed one hundred and four degrees, the child would be fine.
  • The father had already administered the medicine to his son, but he still did not improve, on his face you could see how bad the boy was. The father tried to read to him to make him feel better, but the boy was unable to follow the story. The father stayed with his son until the next dose of medicine.
  • The father decided to go out for a while to hunt some birds and to clear his mind, he took his Irish setter dog with him. Outside the landscape was covered in snow and the roads were slippery. After a while, he decided to go back and check how his son was doing.
  • When the father returned from his walk, he found that his son was worried, almost scared about something. With anguish the boy asked his father when he would die. The father was confused, the boy said that his fever was very high and that he would most likely die.
  • The boy told his father that in the exchange in France they had told him that a person cannot live with 44 degrees and the child was already 102 degrees! The father explained that there were more than one type of thermometer, and the one he was using the normal was 98 degrees. The boy calmed down.
