What a big Marlin !
The story is about an old man, named Santiago who fished alone and had gone eighty-four days straight without catching a fish so, people labelled him as salao.
Oh no, sharks !
In the first forty days,a boy named Manolin had been with him however, his parents told him to work with luckier boat, but Manolin still visit the old man and helping him . on the 85 days, Santiago sets out early in the morning and take his small boat farther into the Ocean than he usually do. Later, while resting , A marlin takes the bait and swims away but the old man still hold on the line.
After three , the fatigued marlin begins to circle the boat and the old man stabs and killing it with a harpoon. He then Iashes the big fish to his boat , and ready to heading home. unfortunately, sharks smelling the blood, comes and start to feast on the marlin. The old man defends his caught by stabbing the sharks with his harpoon but loses his piece.
Not willing to give up, he took every thing in his boat that can be a weapon to kill or get rid the sharks from eating his fish. However , the sharks are persistant and more sharks are coming. The old man exhausted and took rest while the shark continue to finish the marlin. That's all for the summary and we will continue with the review.
