- Grendel would kill people every night for years. He would take over and kill many people every night. He studied and did it every night for years.- Grendel
- Beowulf battled Grendel and beat him with his bare hands. This battle was typically easy for Beowulf. Even though Grendel could not be harmed by any man made weapon he was still beaten by Beowulf bare hands. - Battle with Grendel
- No one knew that Grendel's mom was even still alive. She knew about Grendel's death and this made her very angry. She then went and took Beowulf's best friend.-Grendel's Mother
- Beowulf could not look as a failure so he had to take on Grendel's mother. He had to travel to her place which was a marsh.It was not going to be an easy battle.-Battle with Grendel's Mom
- Beowulf went into yet another battle but this time with Grendel's Mother. This battle was much tougher for him. He got lucky that there was a sword made a long time ago that could harm her this is the only reason he won this battle.-Battle with Grendels mom.
- It was a rough battle but Beowulf won. Not only did he just win he bought back the heads of Grendel and his mother to show what he did. He carried the heads all the way back. Even after his men thought he was dead because of how long he was down there.- Battle With Grendels Mother
